The Asian Pastry Cup, a Singapore registered entity, is the official selective platform for the Asian teams who will go and compete in Lyon-France at the famous Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie – World Pastry Cup in 2019.

After six successful biennial editions, the event has become the largest Asian platform for pastry professionals. This unique live competition pits pastry chefs against one another, culminating in a display of the most delightful and beautiful pastry creations.

12 teams:

This competition was the occasion to gather the best pastry chefs coming from 12 countries : Australia, China, India, Malaysia Maldives, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria and Taiwan

Japan and Korea as guests

Held in the same format as the World Pastry Cup, each team consists of three individuals – two team members who will create the showpieces, chocolates cakes and plated deserts, and a jury member who will be part of the judging panel, under the presidency of

The Asian Pastry Cup goals are:

- Igniting creativity and interest in this culinary art

- Raising the Pastry Industry status in the region

- Providing a communication and education platform among pastry enthusiasts in Asia

-Promoting the best Asian Pastry Chefs of the year from all over Asia

It is held in Singapore in conjunction with FHA “Food & Hotel Asia”, the most renowned trade show within the food and hospitality industry in Asia, gathering about 4,000 international exhibitors and 78,000 trade attendees coming from 100 countries.

Once again, in 2018 FHA welcomed the Asian Pastry Cup competition arena within its heart allowing a tremendous number of spectators.
